Feel Your Best with UMMA's Teen Clinic
Health Services

UMMA’s Teen Clinic provides free services to ensure that all teens can access the care they need without worrying about cost. From wellness checkups to specialized services, everything is available at no charge. Our goal is to make healthcare easy and accessible for every teen.

Do I need a parent or guardian's signature to access Teen Clinic services, and how can I get started?

For most services at the Teen Clinic, you'll need a parent or guardian to sign a consent form. However, you don't need their permission for reproductive, sexual health, or behavioral health services. To get started, download the consent form, have it signed, and return it to the Teen Clinic. If you're at school, you can get a pass from the nurse during school hours.

What Services Are Available for Teens?

UMMA's Teen Clinic offers dental care, sports physicals, immunizations, STI/HIV Testing, birth control and contraceptive options, TB testing, substance abuse treatment, behavioral health counseling, prenatal care, family medicine and more.

Student Health Leaders

We inspire future generations to serve as peer health advocates. Our Student Health Leaders program engages and empowers John C. Fremont High School students through health education and campus-wide campaigns, promoting the services available at our UMMA Teen Clinic and fostering a healthier community.

Student Health Leaders attend weekly meetings, conduct peer health presentations, table at health-related events, and lead our monthly Teen Clinic Talks with John C. Fremont students. With support from our partners at the Los Angeles Trust for Children’s Health, they complete monthly health education campaigns on topics such as HPV, STDs, wellness, adolescent substance use prevention (WASUP), and mental health.
